As we, the people of Iran and nations of the region, including Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India and Uzbekistan are celebrating the auspicious Nowruz, the arrival of Spring and the beginning of Iranian New Year of 1396, I would like to extend my warm congratulations to everybody and wish all a very happy spring and a blessing and successful New Year.
Nowruz, an ancient and glorious tradition celebrated for thousands of years, is a symbol of Iranian heritage and civilization and the most beautiful celebration of nature which promises hope and verdure by the turning of Winter into Spring.
For Iranians and considerable population of the region and beyond, and the Iranian expats around the globe, this festival is a symbol of warmness, light, life, peace, moderation and abundance that the Almighty grants man.
The festival in Iran always inagurates by massages and reports from the highest leaders of the nation, about the acheivements and losts of the previous year and mega-plans for the New Year. The coming year would be the year of resilient economy, production and employment in Iran.
